The Brief
The Women’s Business Centre is a free online home for women in Scotland who are starting or growing a business, run by the not-for-profit Women’s Enterprise Scotland. It needed a platform that made its large advice library easy to navigate, gave members a space to connect, and was simple for its own team to manage.
What We Built
• A WordPress membership platform with free sign-up, member accounts and members-only content.
• An advice hub organised by topic, covering finance, strategy, marketing, sales, legal and wellbeing.
• A business directory where members list their own businesses, from design studios to textile charities.
• A members' forum, plus webinars, events, courses and downloadable checklists for start-ups and financial health.
• Inspiration stories from women business owners, to show what's possible.
The Result
The Women's Business Centre gives women across Scotland one place to learn, connect and promote their businesses, and the the Women’s Business Centre team can add advice, events and courses themselves.
