We only collect the information we need. This may include:

  • Enquiry details – when you use our contact form, email or phone us, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, current website address, the services you are interested in, your budget range and anything else you choose to tell us.
  • Client information – if you become a client, we hold the contact, billing and project information needed to deliver our services, and any login details you share with us for your website or hosting.
  • Technical information – our web server automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the website secure and working properly.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and provide quotes or advice you have asked for;
  • deliver, manage and support the services you have engaged us for;
  • send invoices and keep financial records;

  • our website hosting provider (SiteGround);
  • our email and business software providers;
  • our accountant, for invoicing and tax purposes.

These providers act on our instructions and must keep your information secure. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or if our business is sold or merged, in which case your information would pass to the new owner under the same protections.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as transfers to countries the UK recognises as having adequate data protection, or the use of approved contract terms.

How long we keep your information

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client records are kept for as long as we work together, and financial records for 6 years afterwards, as required by HMRC.
  • Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies that are needed for it to work properly. These do not identify you personally.

We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping your information secure

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, secure hosting, strong passwords and keeping software up to date. While no method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, we work hard to protect your data once we receive it.

Your rights
